The Cat and Mouse mini-game

Maze has a new name and a new rule: you can now chase the sleeping cats away.

How to play. A little mouse runs through a hedge maze, collects cheese and keeps away from two cats. Steer with a finger on the screen, with the arrow buttons or with the keyboard. Collect all the cheese and the next level starts, with everyone running faster. You have three lives.

What’s new. A big piece of cheese puts the cats to sleep. Before, you could only slip past a sleeping cat. Now you can run right into it: the cat dashes back to its corner and the mouse gets 20 points. The second cat during the same nap is worth 40. Each cat can be chased away once while the cheese lasts; eat the next big piece and the count starts over.

Why it matters. The game now has a choice in it: calmly pick up the crumbs, or take a risk and go after the cats before they wake up. The nap is short — the cats blink just before it ends.

The name. In the land shop the game is now called Cat and Mouse. If you already have it, there is nothing to buy again: it updated by itself and your records are still there.

How to get it. The mini-game costs stars in the land shop, under “Furniture”. One game costs a token, and tokens come from the quests finished that day — parents decide how many games a day.
